Event Planning – creating real-time events to gather community members
We do this by: (1) articulating relevant theme(s); (2) choosing an optimal venue; (3) creating a menu; (3) marketing the event via email marketing campaigns and social media; (4) creating press releases and media alerts, and notifying and managing press/media related to events, as appropriate.
For The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) Bay Area, co-chaired annual fund-raiser, raising $30,000 and drawing 100 local business leaders. Conducted PR campaign, resulting in coverage in print and news media.
For Harvard Business School Alumni Association, co-hosted pre-reunion cocktail reception, attended by about 50 alumni in San Francisco, and created panel discussion for Class Reunion, attended by 100 alumni in Boston. Follow-up actions include local Social Media “boot camps.”
Developed The Culture Kitchen, working with chefs, entertainers and speakers to create 30 unique marketing events, using authentic flavors and original culinary experiences. Fostered knowledge and appreciation of foreign cultures through representative cuisines.
